By introducing AI-driven enterprise solutions into its workplace, Yanolja aims to significantly boost operational efficiency and productivity, and at the same time, enhance the capabilities spanning demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, content localization, and automated operations based on Yanolja's Data Enablement Platform and domain-specific AI stack. These initiatives are designed to help travel enterprises worldwide build competitive and efficient hotel operations and enable travelers to enjoy hyper-personalized journeys that extend beyond simple reservations. Yanolja Unveils EEVE ROSETTA, a Translation-Focused Large Language Model
Yanolja, a leading global travel technology company, today announced the release of EEVE ROSETTA, a translation-specialized large language model (LLM) now available as open source on Hugging Face, the world's most widely used AI platform. EEVE is Yanolja's proprietary Korean-optimized LLM, designed for diverse natural language processing tasks including text generation, summarization, translation, and sentiment analysis. Developed by Yanolja's R&D organization under the project Efficient and Effective Vocabulary Expansion (EEVE), the model has already proven its competitiveness—earning recognition as 'Korean LLM of the Year' by the National Information Society Agency, and ranking first on both the Hugging Face Korean Leaderboard and the Horangi Leaderboard. While most translation LLMs are trained primarily on English and Chinese, EEVE ROSETTA supports broad multilingual translation across more than 10 languages, including Korean. The decoder-only model is optimized with 4 billion parameters, making it more than 50% lighter than the original EEVE 1.0 model (10.8B+ parameters). Compared to typical translation LLMs that require over 7B parameters, EEVE ROSETTA significantly reduces operational costs, enhances inference accuracy, and is designed to run smoothly even on standard PC environments. The model also demonstrates strong performance with complex data formats. By analyzing context, nuance, semantic meaning, and sentiment within source text, EEVE ROSETTA generates translations that are not only accurate but also natural and fluent. Yanolja has released EEVE ROSETTA under an open commercial license, enabling businesses, public institutions, and individual developers alike to freely integrate the model into their applications. The company anticipates broad adoption across industries such as travel, commerce, and healthcare, particularly where reliable and domain-preserving translation is critical. Junyoung Lee, Chief Technology Officer of Yanolja, commented: EEVE is more than an AI model—it is a core technology infrastructure that supports digital transformation across industries. Building on Korean, we will expand to Japanese, Chinese, and other languages, empowering global customers to enjoy easier and more seamless travel experiences through Yanolja's Vertical AI services.
