AI FOR TRAVEL ― AI EXPO KOREA 2026

One of Korea’s largest AI exhibitions, AI EXPO KOREA 2026, recently took place in Seoul.

Under the theme “AI FOR TRAVEL”, Yanolja introduced a wide range of AI technologies and services designed to connect the entire travel journey.

On the first day of the exhibition, Youngjin Kim, CTO of Yanolja Consumer Platform Division (CTO of NOL UNIVERSE), participated as a speaker at the AI EXPO KOREA SUMMIT seminar.

During his session, titled “AI-Driven Global Travel Innovation: Personalized Experiences and Expansion Across the Entire B2B2C Journey”, he shared Yanolja’s vision for a future where AI connects global travel businesses and sales channels while delivering more personalized experiences across travel discovery, booking, and operations.

The session also drew significant attention for showcasing real-world examples and insights into how Yanolja Group’s AI and data-driven technologies are being integrated and expanded across actual services.

What if AI could support travelers from the very moment they begin deciding where to go?

NOL UNIVERSE, Yanolja’s consumer platform division, showcased AI-powered hyper-personalized travel experiences.

Visitors to the booth were able to experience both "AI NOLI", an AI-based travel recommendation service, and "AI Trip Planner", a personalized itinerary generation solution.

AI NOLI understands users’ questions and conversations to recommend personalized travel products based on schedules, companions, budgets, and preferences.

Meanwhile, AI Trip Planner automatically creates optimized travel itineraries based on users’ preferences and real travel data, making complex travel planning simpler and more convenient.

The two AI services integrated into the NOL platform attracted strong interest from visitors at the exhibition.

Beyond simply recommending travel products, they demonstrated how AI can transform the entire travel discovery experience.

Yanolja NEXT is Yanolja’s R&D organization dedicated to building the future of travel through AI and data.

At the exhibition, Yanolja NEXT introduced two AI technologies: the generative AI solution "Vicker AI" and the Voice AI solution "Tella by Yanolja NEXT".

Vicker AI is a generative AI technology that creates accommodation content across different times of day and seasons from a single image.

Through this technology, travelers can preview stays more intuitively, while travel businesses can improve content production efficiency and reduce costs.

Tella by Yanolja NEXT is a Voice AI solution that automates reservation and payment inquiry handling.

Supporting real-time interpretation in over 20 languages, it enables AI-powered customer support 24/7 beyond language barriers and time zone differences.

Check-in | WINGS Smart Kiosk by Sanha IT

Sanha Information Technology provides various solutions supporting digital transformation in the hospitality industry.

At this year’s exhibition, the company showcased its AI-powered smart kiosk solution, "WINGS Smart Kiosk".

WINGS Smart Kiosk automates hotel operations through contactless check-in and check-out functions, along with PMS and CMS integration.

It also supports multiple languages—including English, Japanese, and Chinese—and incorporates barrier-free features to ensure a seamless self check-in experience for all guests.

Visitors were able to experience the AI-powered self check-in process firsthand, getting a closer look at how AI and automation technologies are making travel faster and more convenient.
