Yanolja Co., Ltd. (“Yanolja”) establishes and discloses the following Privacy Notice to protect applicants’ personal information (“PI”) in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea (“PIPA”) and to handle related issues in a prompt and proper manner. Any updates to this Privacy Notice will be posted on our recruitment page, including the effective date and details of revisions.

2. Outsourcing of Personal Information

Yanolja does not provide personal information to third parties without the applicant’s consent, unless permitted by PIPA or other applicable laws.

  • Consignment of Processing

    To improve the efficiency of recruitment services, Yanolja entrusts the processing of personal information to service providers in accordance with Article 26 of PIPA. Consignment agreements specify technical and administrative safeguards, restrictions on re-consignment, and liability provisions.

3. Rights of Data Subjects

Applicants have the right, under PIPA, to request access to their personal information, request correction of inaccuracies, request deletion, and request suspension of processing.

  • Requests may be limited or denied where restricted by law, in which case Yanolja will notify the applicant of the reason.
  • Supporting documentation may be requested when necessary to process corrections.

4. Protection of Children’s Personal Information

Yanolja does not collect personal information from children under the age of 14 as part of its recruitment process.

5. Retention and Destruction of Personal Information

Retention: Once the purpose of collection has been achieved, personal information may be stored separately for a limited period as required by law or internal policy.

Destruction:

  • Electronic files are permanently deleted using secure, non-restorable methods.
  • Paper records are shredded or incinerated.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Applicant Privacy Notice may be amended to reflect changes in applicable laws or in Yanolja’s practices. If the Privacy Notice is updated, Yanolja will provide notice of the changes on its recruitment page. The revised version will take effect as of the date of posting.
