NOL Surpasses 70,000 Users Within One Month of Launching AI-Powered “AI Nori” Service

Conversational, intent-based travel discovery transforms search experience and strengthens leisure tech capabilities
User adoption peaks during year-end travel season, with usage up to 12% above average
NOL, a travel and leisure platform operated by NOL UNIVERSE, led by CEO Cheolwoong Lee, has surpassed 70,000 cumulative users within one month of launching its AI-powered conversational discovery service, AI Nori, signaling strong early adoption and rapid growth.
Launched last month, AI Nori is an AI-driven service that understands users’ travel intent and context, providing personalized recommendations for domestic accommodations and leisure activities through natural, conversational interactions. The service is accessible via a floating icon displayed below the NOL search bar or on search results pages. Users can simply describe multiple criteria—such as travel dates, companion type, budget, and desired amenities—in natural language, and receive optimized recommendations in real time.
Driven by its ease of use and intuitive experience, AI NORI saw a notable surge in engagement during peak travel periods, including year-end weekends and the Christmas holiday season, when user activity increased by up to 12% compared to average levels.
NOL plans to leverage conversational data accumulated through AI Nori to gain deeper insights into user preferences and search behaviors, continuously improving the accuracy of its recommendation algorithms. Beyond basic product suggestions, the company aims to strengthen context-aware recommendations tailored to travelers’ specific purposes and situations, creating a more seamless experience from discovery through booking.
Looking ahead, NOL plans to gradually expand AI Nori across additional categories, including international travel as well as entertainment and ticketing, further reinforcing its competitiveness as a leisure technology platform.
