The initiative goes beyond medical support to help families recover and create meaningful moments together
Global travel tech company Yanolja Group (CEO Sujin Lee) is continuing its support for children with cancer and their families in celebration of Children’s Day, helping them not only with treatment but also with recovery in daily life.
Yanolja and NOL UNIVERSE announced on the 4th that they delivered donations and goods worth KRW 100 million to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation, including treatment support funds, family travel expenses, and tickets for cultural performances. The initiative was designed to help children undergoing long-term treatment and their families ease financial burdens and regain emotional stability through meaningful time together.
Guided by the core values of “sustainable sharing” and “social responsibility” emphasized by CEO Sujin Lee, Yanolja Group has continuously supported children with cancer since 2010. To date, the company’s cumulative donations have reached approximately KRW 1.4 billion. Beyond treatment support, the group has expanded its efforts to improve the quality of life for patients and families through initiatives such as creating children’s shelters, providing educational opportunities, supporting family relationship recovery, and offering leisure activities.
This year, the company provided KRW 70 million for treatment expenses, KRW 30 million for family travel support, and 100 tickets for cultural performances. Through these efforts, Yanolja Group aimed to go beyond treatment-focused assistance and help families build precious memories together while strengthening their motivation for recovery.
Sujin Lee, CEO of Yanolja Group, said, “In celebration of Children’s Day, we hope children can spend warm and meaningful moments with their families, which is why we continue this support every year.” He added, “Yanolja Group will continue not only to innovate the travel industry through technology and data, but also to practice ‘shared growth management’ so that all members of society can enjoy happier lives.”
